Fresh off his Tony Award-winning performance in Cabaret, Cumming graced the cover of Out as he transitioned to the big screen. Fifteen years later, he’s back on Broadway in the role that first made him a star.

mydarkenedeyes:

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) was a French painter, printmaker, draughtsman and illustrator whose immersion in the colourful and theatrical life of Paris in the late 1800’s yielded a collection of exciting, elegant and provocative images of the modern and sometimes decadent life of those times. Among the likes of Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin, he was one of the greatest painters of the Post-Impressionist period.

askerquestioner

1stqueenofmars: hello hi here are some questions for you <3 1. which of Paul Higgin's characters would you marry straight away? 2. What's you favourite quote from literature? 3. Have you ever visited the UK? (if you haven't you should!) 4. What's your favourite thing about where you live? 5. If you had the chance to adapt any book/play/anything into a movie, what would it be (and who would play the main characters)?

Thanks for these lovely questions!

1.which of Paul Higgin’s characters would you marry straight away?

Jamie…no, he belongs to Malcolm. Well, Boris in Children of the Sun or Michael in Utopia maybe.

2.What’s you favourite quote from literature?

one of my favorite and ponder over and over recently is:

To fear love is to fear life, and those whose fear life are already three parts dead… ― Anton Chekhov

3.Have you ever visited the UK? (if you haven’t you should!)

No, I haven’t. But I desperately want to go one day!

4. What’s your favourite thing about where you live?

close to nature!

5. If you had the chance to adapt any book/play/anything into a movie, what would it be (and who would play the main characters)?

Caledonia by Alistair Beaton. Paul Higgins as William Paterson of course. No One Writes To The Colonel by MárquezMichael Caine be the Colonel. Oh, and I finished Christopher Moore’s Sacré Bleu last week, think Paul Higgins can play Lucien but I hadn’t made my mind of who can play the humorous Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.:-D
